Chef Axel’s base culinary education began in his native Germany. After the completion of a rewarding apprenticeship at the prestigious restaurant “Zum Baeren,” Chef Axel’s career took off, leading him around the world working for big name companies and hotel groups. With an impressive client base ranging from Saudi and British Royalty to the United States Olympic team, Chef Axel’s culinary artwork and expertise served as inspiration to open Chef Axel Fine Catering in San Diego.
